What a privilege to be with people at the most precious of life’s milestones; couples coming together to publicly (or secretly!) declare their love for each other, and families saying a good goodbye to someone they have loved and now lost. 

Weddings

I am officially registered to conduct legally binding marriages and civil partnerships anywhere in Scotland, each unique to the couple at their heart.

From tiny secret elopements, where intention is everything, and everything is chosen… to elaborate hearts-and-flowers extravaganzas with all your family and friends, it can be as relaxed or as formal, and as romantic or as raucous as you are.

Whatever you want, goes!

‘Tie the knot’ with a Handfasting ceremony.

Toast the deal with a dram from the Quaich.

Write your own personal vows and ‘set them in stone’ by swearing them to each other over an Oathing Stone.

Or do them all! It’s your wedding, your way.

Celebrations of Life

A life well-lived should be celebrated too, and a good goodbye can be an important part of the grieving process. I work with families to capture the essence of their loved one for a person-centred funeral that celebrates and commemorates the life they have loved and lost.

Humanism is a positive, non-religious approach to life, based on the values of compassion and reason, inclusivity and respect.
